Lockwood Hall Farm is a working dairy farm
overlooking the attractive Churnet Valley on the edge of the Staffordshire
Moorlands. The spacious accommodation sleeps up to six people plus
cot, whilst remaining cosy and homely enough for two. There are two large
bedrooms, one with a double and a single and the other with three singles. The
upstairs bathroom has washbasin, bath, separate shower and W.C. Downstairs is
the spacious living / dining room. Its main feature is the large inglenook
fireplace with original bread ovens still intact - this complements the beamed
ceiling and furniture beautifully. There is a colour television and video for
lazy evenings in front of the fire. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped and
has full electric cooker, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine and
microwave. We welcome children of all ages and a cot and high chair
are available and babysitting is by arrangement. There is a large, mature
garden adjoining to the house where children are welcome to play.
Lockwood Hall is situated on the edge of the village of Kingsley Holt, giving
the peace and quiet of the countryside whilst being within a mile of the
village shop, pub and restaurant. We are four miles from the thrills of Alton
Towers and twenty minutes from the Peak District, plus many other attractions
in easy reach, including the factory shops of the Potteries, stately homes and
award winning museums. Lockwood Hall is an ideal base to explore the Moorlands
and Peak District or just to come and relax. |
